It Was a Sterling Silver Night

After my earlier post about the decorating process to prepare for Sterling Silver, I thought you might want to see a few photos from the night.

It was a grand event and our students from the Culinary Arts and Agriculture programs were fabulous. Did you know that Bakersfield College’s Culinary Arts students prepared all the food under the expert tutelage of guest chef William Bloxsom-Carter, and Bakersfield College chefs Pat Coyle, Suzanne Carter and Alex Gomez?

If you’ve not been to Sterling Silver, you need to come…if for nothing else, than for the food!

The images below were taken by Bakersfield College American Sign Language professor Tom Moran. His full album of photos is available for viewing online at http://moran.smugmug.com/photos/swfpopup.mg?AlbumID=27855083&AlbumKey=xf2Hrb.

Mike Stepanovich, Executive Director of the Bakersfield College Foundation, was our host for the night.

Jerry Cook served as our live auction host. I’m here to help increase the bids for a special dinner at my home!

That evening was a lot of fun and the food was great. The Bakersfield College Foundation and our students did an exceptional job! It was nice getting to visit with you and once again, welcome back.
